To Our Patients at Salem Women's Health Partners:As you may be aware, our practice will be closing by June 30th, 2018. This announcement is tied to Salem Regional Medical Center's (SRMC) recent announcement to close its maternity unit (OB) on May 11th, 2018. It has been our privilege to serve you as a patient of this practice, and we want to provide you with the following information to help transition your care to another provider.
*If you are a current maternity patient scheduled to deliver after May 11th: Please contact our office as soon as possible so our staff can assist you in transferring your information to a new obstetrician of your choice. Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital and Aultman Hospital in Canton have a number of affiliated obstetricians who are accepting new patients. A complete list of each facility's obstetricians can be found at: doctors.mercy.com or aultman.org.
*If you are a current gynecology patient:
Our Salem Women's Health Partners' physicians will continue to see their patients through mid- to late June. After that time, you will need to make arrangements to transition to another provider, which may include a primary care provider, who offers women's health services.
Please note that there are many highly qualified primary care physicians in the area who are accepting new patients. A complete list of physicians affiliated with SRMC's medical staff is available at www.salemregional.com.
*Your Medical Records: Please call our office at (330) 332-1939 before June 30th, to arrange the transfer of your confidential medical records to another provider. After June 30th, you can call (330) 332-7685 to arrange for the transfer of your records.
